English-speaking taxi services began test operations in Osaka Prefecture on March 4 in the hope of attracting foreign visitors to use cabs for touring the area.Taxi drivers with an English proficiency level of grade 2 in the Eiken English test are provided vehicles with large stickers that say, "International Visitors Taxi." They have all taken English lessons and learned about tourist spots.
